November 28th, 2007 page 3 Pencil on bristol, touch ups and color in PS7 This was one of the 30 redone pages for the directors cut of SG. The original was a widescreen format which housed the book's credits. I wanted to showcase Salam in a different light this time. A moment of unsureness to where she falls in the grand scheme of things. That was deep. From tiny lavish details to nitty-gritty pencils, he commands an imaginative arsenal of dark haunting art with a twisted sense of humor all within the confines of comic pages. This opening splash page from Sullengrey in particular gives you a taste of Drew's lovely moody pages. Here you can find little playful skulls all about, swirling autumn leaves filling the thick foggy air, and a creepy Mausoleum lurking behind our lead character, Salem.
